The requirements capability is the service offering system which functions to realize functional, physical, non-functional, service, cost, scheduling, quality, materiel, service design, service transition, service delivery and service improvement requirements.
The purpose of the requirements capability is to enable and assure the abilities of the requirements of the service.
Service Requirements Management
Service requirements management is the service offering management of the service requirements capability.
The purpose of service requirements management is to enable and assure the management and abilities of the service requirements capabilities of the enterprise are controlled, balanced and aligned to the mission and needs of the enterprise as a whole.
Service Requirements Management Responsibilities
The service manager role is responsible for service requirements management of the service requirements capability.
Service requirements management work products include service requirements management ideas, requirements, plans, risks, opportunities, reviews, decisions and action items.
Service Requirements Architecture
The service requirements architecture is the service offering architecture of service requirements management of the service requirements capability.
The service manager role uses the service requirements architecture to support service requirements management responsibilities and activities.
The purpose of the service requirements architecture is to provide a management structure to enable and assure the service requirements capability of the enterprise is controlled, balanced and aligned to the mission and needs of the enterprise as a whole.
The structure includes functional requirements, physical requirements, non-functional requirements, service requirements, cost requirements, scheduling requirements, quality requirements, materiel requirements, transition requirements and delivery requirements.
Service Requirements Architecture Responsibilities
The service architect role is responsible for architecting the service requirements architecture in support of the service requirements management responsibilities of the service manager role.
Service requirements architecture work products include service requirements architecture concepts, descriptions, models, views, viewpoints, specifications and analyses. Specific examples are service requirements, service constraints, service scenarios, service requirements verification traceability matrix, service requirements management database, external supplier requirements, delivery requirements, delivery procedures requirements, requirements models, requirements analyses, requirements traceability reports and requirement issues.
Service Requirements Team
As shown in Figure 81 – Service Requirements Team Concept service requirements is interconnected with and interdependent on integration, data, configurations, records, information utilization and system requirements.
