Enterprise capability management is the enterprise system management of the enterprise capability system.
The purpose of enterprise capability management is to enable and assure the management and abilities of the enterprise capability system are controlled, balanced and aligned to the mission and needs of the whole enterprise.
The enterprise manager role is responsible for enterprise capability management.
The enterprise manager role is supported by the enterprise architect role and enterprise architecture.
Each system element of the enterprise capability system has an associated management capability.
