The business capability system is the system element of the enterprise system capability which systematically functions to realize a business capability.
The purpose of the business capability system is to enable and assure the ability of business capabilities.
As actions begin to realize the ability of a business functionality, a business capability is formed to satisfy the need to prepare for and to realize the offerings and capabilities.
Over time, a business capability is realized in a systematic ability controlled by business capability management, the responsibility of the business manager role.
The business manager role is supported by the business architect role and business architecture.
