The purpose of information utilization management is to enable and assure the management and abilities of the information utilization capabilities of the enterprise are controlled, balanced and aligned to the mission and needs of the enterprise as a whole.

The IT architect role is responsible for architecting the information utilization architecture in support of the information utilization management responsibilities of the IT manager role.
Information utilization architecture work products include information utilization architecture concepts, descriptions, models, views, viewpoints, specifications and analyses.
Information Utilization Team
As shown in Figure 69 – Information Utilization Team Concept, information utilization is interconnected with and interdependent on enterprise, business, process, data, configurations, records, system offering and service offering.
