An information ability is the realization of an information capability through Information Lifecycle Activities to manage and control information development and operations, satisfying the need for data, configurations, records and information management.
Lifecycle Activities are conducted to Standard Operating Procedures resulting in Information Lifecycle Work Products by utilizing:

- Reference Information Architectures & Models
- Information Architecture & Management Training & Certification
