Enterprise System Resources

An enterprise system resource (“resource”) is a “thing of value” to the workings of the enterprise system, a source or supply from which value-adding benefit is produced for the enterprise.

Examples of resources are people, processes, information, technologies, patents, property, parts, materials, products, chemicals, strategies, plans, analyses, reports, reviews, customers, contracts, sales, schedules, money, suppliers, metrics, awards, rewards and certifications.

Offerings and capabilities are collections of resources and are realized in a systematic way by the enterprise system capability system.
